Suzie, Receptionist
Suzie started working at Companions in May of 2005. She was a client of ours before she came to work with us. She has 2 kitties, "Max" and "Mellon" plus 19 nieces and nephews she loves to spoil. She does a great job of greeting pets and their people and capturing images of them with the digital camera.
Alaine: Veterinary Technician / Receptionist
Alaine has worked in the veterinary field since 1994. For the first ten years of her career, she worked in a 'cat only' veterinary hospital. She started working at Companions in December 2004 after returning to Boise from the Seattle area. Alaine loves animals and being part of the healing process. She is "Mom" to 2 dogs and 2 cats. Her favorite hobby is crafting hand made jewelry and occasionally she plays the djembe ( an African drum).
Patty : Certified Veterinary Technician,
Patty started in the veterinary field in October 1995 at a cat practice in New York. She moved to Idaho in 1999 and gained additional experience in both a cat practice and dog and cat practice. She received her License as a Certified Veterinary Technician in June 2001. She started working for Companions in August 2005. Patty has been married for 40 years and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She and her husband are living their dream in a log cabin on a small farm with 4 dogs, 8 cats, 2 horses, 2 goats, chickens, and a cockatiel. Patty has a very friendly and fun personality, our clients love her!
Claudette: Veterinary Technician,
Claudette has been in the Veterinary field for 10 years. She has been with Companions longer than the rest of the staff - since July 2001! She has 3 pets; Zeus, Frodo and Jasmine. She has two great kids and a terrific husband. She has a wonderful memory for pets and their problems.
Hannah : Kennel Assistant / Technician's Assistant,
Hannah started with Companions right after she was married in the summer of 2007. She loves animals! She grew up with horses, dogs, cows, cats, goats, mice, iguanas, birds, snakes and many more! Right now she has one amazing dog named Sweetie Pie and a very faithful horse named Fred. Hannah's bubbly personality makes her fun to be around and helps the pets feel relaxed and happy.
Ali, Kennel Assistant / Technicians Assistant
Ali has been with Companions since July 2006, she started out as a Kennel Assistant and in the Summer of 2007 was trained to be a Technician's Assistant. She has 7 cats, 2 dogs, 5 birds and 2 horses. She will be attending College this next Fall and wants to study to be a Veterinarian!
Kimi, Kennel Assistant
Kimi has been with Companions since August 2007. She has 2 dogs, 4 cats and loves to ride horses. She will be studying Meteorology at the University of Utah next fall. Amazingly enough, Kimi loves to file so we let her do this all she wants!
